User Agreement
ETS|ATS Mod Manager · agreement version of 31 Oct 2026
The same agreement is shown in the program on the first launch and after it is updated.
1. About the program
ETS|ATS Mod Manager (the “Program”) is a free mod manager for Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. It is made by ModFlow Studio (the “Authors”).
The Program is not affiliated with SCS Software, Valve (Steam), TruckersMP, or the authors of maps and mods. Names of games, mods and services belong to their owners.
The Program is provided “as is”: the Authors do not promise it will work without errors on every computer and with every build.
2. What the Program does on your computer
It reads the game folder, the mod folder, profiles, saves and the Steam Workshop folder to show your mods and builds.
It changes the mod order and list in a profile, as well as profile and save settings, only when you ask. Before writing to a profile or a save, the Program makes a backup copy.
Auto-order and crash analysis are hints, not a guarantee: the order suggested by the Program may not suit your build. Any change can be undone (Ctrl+Z) or restored from a backup.
A .tmod build file contains only a list of mods and notes about the build. An archive that you create with the “Archive with mods” button contains the mod files themselves: you may pass them on only with the authors’ permission, and you are responsible for that.
3. Mods and other people’s rights
Mods, maps and other materials belong to their authors. The Program does not distribute mods and does not bypass any game protection. You are responsible for what you use and for following the rules of mod authors, Steam and TruckersMP.
Using mods in multiplayer is your own choice and at your own risk.
4. Liability
You use the Program at your own risk. The Authors are not responsible for lost saves, game crashes, mods that do not work, account bans or other losses. That is why it is wise to keep your own copies of important files before big changes.
5. Use and distribution
The Program is free for personal use. You may pass it to others only as the unchanged installer with a link to the source. You may not sell the Program or present it as your own.
6. Acceptance and refusal
By clicking “Accept” you agree to this agreement. If you click “Decline”, the Program will close and will not work: we cannot provide it without your consent. You can uninstall the Program at any time.
If the agreement changes, the Program will ask you to accept the new version.
7. Contact
Questions and bug reports are accepted only through the “Send report” button in the Program.
8. What data we use
We do not collect personal data: your name, email, passwords, payment details, contents of personal files, or your Steam logins. Paths like C:\Users\Name are hidden in reports.
Everything you set in the Program (language, theme, notes and tags on mods, pinned mods) is stored only on your computer.
Right now the Program connects to the internet only to: check for new versions (GitHub); search and read mod information on the Steam Workshop; send an error report, only when you press the button yourself and can see what is sent; check for replies to your reports; get the list of nicknames of people who supported the project (from our server, without amounts or personal data). The Telegram and Discord links open in your browser only when you click them yourself.
Error report. When you send a report, it reaches the Authors and is stored on our server for up to 90 days so that we can reply to it. It contains what you see in the sending window (the description, your nickname and contact if you gave them, versions, the list of mods and game log entries; a path with your user name is replaced with “~”). A random number that the Program creates on your computer is sent together with the report: it gathers your reports and our replies into one conversation where you can keep writing. The number is not linked to your name, an account or the statistics. Messages in this conversation are stored on our server for up to 90 days. Every few minutes the Program checks whether there is a reply or a new message from us and shows it in a window.
Rating the Program. If you answer the short survey (“Rate”) yourself, the Authors receive your ratings from 1 to 5, an optional comment, the Program version and the game, without a name or contacts.
Statistics. To improve the Program (auto-order, build databases, features), the Authors may collect anonymous statistics: the Program and game version, the number and names of installed mods and builds, mod order, which features are used, and error information. This is not for fun, but to make the manager more accurate. We do not collect anything that would let us find out who you are.
How we use mod order. We combine the mod lists of different players and count how mods are most often arranged; these general conclusions (pairs of mods that almost everyone puts in the same order) go into the Program and help auto-order for everyone. We do not publish individual builds or show them to other players.
Sending statistics is on by default. You can turn it off at any time: “Manager settings” → “Updates” → “Send statistics to improve the manager”. If you turn it off, the Program keeps working as before.
We do not sell or give the collected data to third parties.
